Fillings and Emulsions is a Latin and eclectic patisserie located at 1475 S Main St in Salt Lake City. It to me is a fusion of the Latin/Cuban background of the chef coupled with his french training. Whatever it is, it equals perfection in every order.
My last visit we got a box of a dozen macarons - my favorite ones I’ve ever had (and I’ve become pretty picky). They are amazing!
And I also took advantage of it being lunchtime and got myself a Cuban sandwich pie. They are made with puff pastry, pork, cheese, mustard and pickles. It’s like a Cuban Sandwich in hand pie form. It’s perfection for lunch.
I’ve never ordered something that wasn’t extremely well made, beautiful to look at or delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. Try it for yourself!!!!!
