January Events In Salt Lake City
/Next week we say goodbye to 2018 and welcome in the new year. Here are a few ways to bring in it.
1. Last Hurrah 2018
The Downtown Alliance, the Gateway, and a myriad of corporate sponsors are hosting Last Hurrah 2018 at the Gateway on December 31st starting at 8pm. Admission is free for all. There will be food trucks, games for adults and kids, bars, live music, and, of course, a countdown to the new year.
2. Utah Grizzlies Hockey Games
It’s hockey season and the Grizzlies have quite a few home games in January. Click below for schedule and tickets.
3. Doktor Kaboom
On January 12th at Kingsbury Hall you can experience Doktor Kaboom an “over-the-top German physicist with a passion for science that knows no bounds.” Learn rocket science and have fun at the same time!
4. Sundance Film Festival
The annual Sundance Film Festival will descend on the state beginning January 24th and ending February 3rd. It’s always a great time to see new films, support our local vendors, and people watch.
