Fun Events in April 2020 in Salt Lake City
/Here are a few fun ideas of things to do in April in and around Salt Lake City!
1. Spring Orchid Show
Red Butte Garden is having their annual spring Orchid Show April 4th and 5th. You can see and learn about all kinds of common and exotic orchid varieties. And you will also be able to purchase plants and pottery while you’re there!
2. Easter Egg Hunts
There are Easter Egg Hunts all over the valley that you can participate in. I’m not going to have links for each of them, but you can find them easily with an online search. Some of the options are at Wheeler Farm, Gardner Village, Thanksgiving Point, Draper’s Galena Hills Park, and Solitude Mountain Resort to name a few.
3. Nature All Around Us Exhibit
The Natural History Museum of Utah always has a great temporary exhibit to check out. Right now it’s Nature All Around Us and it is a chance to learn all about the plants and animals that share our neighborhoods. It is running now through May 25th. 4. Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point
I know I’ve posted about this before, but it’s cool enough to post again. From April 10 to May 9 this year you can attend the annual Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. They have 280,000 varieties of tulips to see. They also have concerts and a 5k and other events around the festival. Get all the info and tickets at the link below.
