Farms, Flowers and Babies in and Around Salt Lake City

I don’t know about you, but this spring I feel like I’m crawling out of a den of hibernation out into the glorious sunshine. I have missed it and cannot wait to take advantage of it. If you’re anything like me and want to get out there and enjoy some new life, here are a few places in the valley to see both baby animals and gorgeous flowers.

1. Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival and Farm Country

The annual Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point is running until May 8th and it is always a sight to behold. Thousands of flowers, lovely weather, and usually some extra events running concurrently. While you’re there you can also pop over to Farm Country and see all the baby animals typically born in the spring. Win-win!

2. Cross E Ranch Babies and Blooms

At the other end of the valley there is another place with both farm babies and flowers - the Cross E Ranch. Their Baby Animal Festival also runs until May 8th and their Tulip Festival lasts through the early part of the month. You can never get enough babies, so check it out!

3. Red Butte Gardens Bulbs & Blooms

I’ve written about Red Butte and all their great programs many times in the past and I’m doing it again. They have over 500,000 bulbs planted throughout the grounds and you can go and see them all through early May. They don’t have baby animals, but don’t hold it against them. Red Butte is always a treat.
