Days of '47 Celebrations for 2017

Pioneer Day, July 24th, is always a day of great celebrations here in Salt Lake City. In case you're new here, that is the day the state celebrates the first settling of the Salt Lake Valley. It is celebrated with fireworks and BBQs like the 4th, but has its own activities as well.

Days of '46, Inc throws some of the biggest and best of the celebrations. They have a Pops Concert at the newly renovated Eccles Theater on July 14-15, an historical hike on July 22, a really fun rodea from the 19-24 at the State Fair Park, a parade the morning of the 24th that runs through Downtown for just the highlights.
