The Salt Lake Real Estate Market is alive and thriving. According to the Realtors Confidence Index Survey March 2016 results the market is up over last year. Nationwide 42% of homes sold with less than one month on the market. Here in Utah the median days on the market is between 31-45 days.
Agents here are also reporting an uptick in buyers in the marketplace and continued weak seller traffic.
That means we are still in the midst of a seller's market. The expectation is that home prices will rise 3-4% over the next 12 months with very strong sales in single family homes. The condo and townhouse market is also expected to be strong.
